Divya Gupta has dreamed of becoming an actress since she was a child, but she didn’t know how to make it happen. One of her cousins became an actress by working as an air hostess, then getting into modeling, and finally landing a movie. Divya wanted to follow the same path, but her mother didn’t allow her to.
After finishing her 10th grade, Divya joined a girls' engineering college and completed a diploma. Later, she joined another engineering college and earned her B.Tech degree. After graduation, she worked in a corporate job for 12 years. Her last position before leaving the company was as a QA Manager.
In a podcast with AdiTea, Divya shared that she once got an offer to act in "Taaza Khabar" by Bhuvan Bam, but she couldn’t take it for some reason.
