Nayab Midha was born on September 13, 1996, in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. She studied engineering at BPIT, Delhi, and worked at Infosys for two years before realizing her true passion was poetry.
She wrote her first poem in 9th grade and began performing at college slam poetry contests, winning several awards at Delhi University and IP University fests like Anugoonj.
Her first poetry video was released in 2018, and by 2020, she quit her IT job to pursue poetry full-time. Despite COVID challenges, she never looked back.
Nayab’s viral poem “Muskurao” earned her the nickname “Muskurao Girl”. She’s worked with brands, managed artists, and hosted her own successful show, “The Nayab Show.”
With over 1 million Instagram followers and more than 100,000 YouTube subscribers, Nayab is one of India's leading spoken word artists, known for poems such as "Tum Khoobsurat Ho" and "Nani Ki Kahani."
